So let me start with a little history; not much, but just a little. After over 30 years working in the computer field as a programmer and analyst, I got a wake up call when my mom died at the age of 61 from pancreatic cancer. It was time to change the life plan and see what was happening outside of the world of computers.

TimeLine....Life is Like a Float Trip
When I stop and think about life, I can't help but want to compare it to a float trip down the river. We start out with our coolers, suntan lotion, and everything we need for our relaxing trip down the river. Most of us are lucky enough to have a guide or two with us to tell us what is coming up ahead, but the water is smooth and we know they will take care of us and make sure we make the trip ok, so we don't really pay a lot of attention to what they say.
