Study the Snow Closely.....

   

    Last week while driving through the latest blizzard,  I told Red (the other Kathy), to look at the snow and study it very close, because I don't plan to have to see it again after this year (Unless it's Christmas or we choose to). Truly, I think even the great snow lovers are getting a little tired of it this year. All I know is that this seems like the longest winter I can remember, but will make the Spring that much more welcome!

    Now, for an update on our plans.

    When I previously wrote about making memories, little did I know that our winter here in the Midwest  would become a major one. As I work on this post I'm looking out my window at close to a foot of snow, and more on the way this coming weekend. How glad I am

Good Bye 2013!

    So here it is, New Years Eve, Eve! Time to put the year in perspective and clear the slate for 2014! All in all it's been a good year. Nothing horrible has happened and we still have a roof over our heads and food on our table. I would say that in today's world that is quite a blessing! We have friends and family to be thankful for, our health appears to be good, and we are looking forward to a new life adventure
